Inside the Clinic
Pettygrove Physical Therapy & Sports Rehabilitation is designed, staffed and equipped to provide quality rehabilitation services. Our therapists work with the referring physician and other qualified licensed professionals to develop personalized rehabilitation programs for each patient. These programs are designed to return individuals, who have experienced some level of impairment, to their normal lifestyle. The staff specializes in sports injuries and post-operative joint rehabilitation, treatment of lower back and neck pain, pain reduction from arthritis, workers compensation rehabilitation, and treatment of traumatic injuries. In order to enhance the rehabilitation process, our therapists develop home exercise programs tailored to each individual. The staff also specializes in isokinetic strength testing and rehabilitation utilizing the BIODEX system.

Gym Equipment
The first thing most people will notice about our gym is the open space. Approximately 4000 square feet of gym and treatment area allows patients to interact with one another and share the satisfaction of regaining control of their body’s function. Treatment rooms with adjustable tables allow those with a desire for more privacy to receive treatment without the distraction of others. Men’s and women’s changing areas are equipped with a shower and lockers for those who need to return to work after their therapy appointment.
Our gym equipment allows our patients to perfect exercise with the therapist’s feedback so they are able to safely reproduce the same strength training exercises either at their gym or with modifications at home. Our strength training equipment will be similar to those found in your local fitness center. This allows the therapist to design your personal program to your specific needs. The gym area provides open floor area where plyometric and coordination drills may be performed for those with needs for sport-specific training. We are also one of the few clinics in the Portland area to provide isokinetic strength testing and exercise with the BIODEX system.
